It was back in 2000 when the dream to design exclusive lifestyle experiences in Sicily took shape and L’Isolabella was born.

At those times, there was no local operator providing luxury services for high-end travelers from all over the world, so we were the new, the weird and the brave.
From our tiny one-room office based in Catania (Sicily), we got our full tour operator license and basically created a niche.

Nowadays, our main office is still not that big.
We like to be a boutique operator and maintain a personal relationship with our clientele, but our local-based staff is now also spread out in several Italian regions and in Malta, which we proudly call home too.

We do like to spend days, weeks a year on the road to explore our destinations, find stunning places and incredible experiences, try and test every single service we deliver, build long lasting relationships with our super selected suppliers. That’s the funny part of the story.

We love see our clients’ happy faces and smiles and receive their lovely feedback. Backoffice it’s a hard job that requires passion, enthusiasm, total dedication to details, care, professionalism, flexibility, reliability, integrity, honesty, experience.

It might happen we also to receive a bad report for a hotel or a single service, but that’s part of the game. We are all humans.

No matter what we say, our solid reputation is given by our incredible clientele.
Delivering a very personal service and designing luxury lifestyle experiences which really fit their needs and exceed their expectations above and beyond is our daily commitment. We learn a lot from them, as they challenge us always to go that extra mile.

We are experience designers.
When travelling, we want to follow our passions and dreams and collect precious moments to add to our unique book of life.

The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” – Anthony Bourdain
