Hotel Metropole Taormina – Maison d’Hotes
Located on a peak overhanging the sea the Metropole Maison d’Hôtes rises in the ancient heart of Taormina, the only 5* hotel along Corso Umberto, the main street.
Originally a historical hotel, the building was built in the XVII century and it has marked the gold age of the Sicilian belle époque. At the beginning of the XX century the hotel took the name Metropole and kept it until the 1971, year in which it closed down.
